Product Listing on OnCommerce via DMS

Once your OnCommerce store is connected to DMSMatrix, you can start adding products into the DMSMatrix system and link them to OnCommerce for publishing. The platform provides a user-friendly product dashboard to manually create, manage, and link products to your sales channels, including OnCommerce.

Add Single Product & Bulk Upload by Template — Link to OnCommerce: 

1.Add product by template – 

Step 1: Access the Product Dashboard

  • From the DMSMatrix main dashboard, click on the “Products” tab on the left panel.
  • This opens the template Dashboard, where you can manage all product-related tasks by template.

Step 2: Open template Settings

  • Click the Settings icon in the top-right corner of the Template Dashboard to access template features.

Step 3: Crete a new template

  • New Products template: Select the “New Products Template” option. This option is used only when creating the new template for the product feed. 
  • Update Products template: This option will be only used while creating a template for modifying the existing products in the system.  
  • Click on “+ Crete template ”, then choose “New product template” then click on proceed.

Step 4: Configure select channel tab

  • Channels & Categories:
  • Select OnCommerce from the list.
  • Search the category that you want to & select the category.
  • Click the check box then Click “Proceed”.

Step 5: Template settings

  • Select Export Format  
  • Compact Template: A clear and simplified template format for product feed.  
  • Extended Template: A detailed template format for product feed including a wide range of product attributes and information. 
  • Sub-Product Columns: add required sub-product columns to the template 
  • Click on “Proceed” Once you click “Proceed”, your template will be created, and you will be to download it .  

Step 6: Export template

  • The template will be created successfully, then Click on “Download Template” for download your template.
  • When you click “Download Template”, a job will start running in background.
  • Once the job is completed, another pop-up will appear confirming that the template has been successfully created.
  • Simply click on the job pop-up and click on link to download your template.

Step 7: Template filling

  • The DMS category must be selected as “Everything Else”.
  • In the template, all red-highlighted fields are mandatory and must be filled.
  • The OnCommerce category selected in DMS must match the category selected in template
  • OnCommerce categories have some mandatory properties, which must also be filled.
  • Once you fill all the details then saved the file.

Step 8: Template upload

  • To upload a file, open the template dashboard, where you can manage all product-related tasks using templates.
  • Click “Upload Template” at the top-right corner.
  • Select the completed file you want to upload.
  • If you want to upload images through the template, do not tick the checkbox.
  • Click “Upload” to submit the file.
  • Once you click “Upload”, a job will start running, and a pop-up will appear indicating that your template upload is in progress.
  • After the upload job is completed, a “Your template uploaded successfully” pop-up will appear that’s indicating that your template is uploaded.
  • To view your uploaded file, go to the Template Dashboard, where all uploaded files are displayed.
  • To view the products uploaded through the template, go to the Product Dashboard—your newly added products will appear there.

2.  Add a single product –

Step 1: Access the Product Dashboard

  • From the DMS Matrix main dashboard, click on the “Products” tab on the left panel.
  • This opens the Product Dashboard, where you can manage all product-related tasks.

Step 2: Open Product Settings

  • Click the Settings icon in the top-right corner of the Product Dashboard to access product features.

Step 3: Add a New Product

  • Click on “+ Add Product”, then choose “Create New Product”.

Step 4: Configure Product in the “Channels” Tab

  • DMS Category: Set to “Everything Else” by default.
  • Channels & Categories:
  • Select OnCommerce from the drop-down list.
  • Click “Select Category” and use the search tool to find the most relevant OnCommerce product category.
  • Choose the correct category and click “Select”, then “Next”.

Step 5: Complete the “Identifiers” Tab

  • Enter:
  • UPC, HS Code, and Barcode
  • Select the Vendor from the drop-down
  • Enter Vendor SKU and Channel SKU and click “Next”

Step 6: Add Product Descriptions

  • Fill in:
  • DMS Title and DMS Title (in Chinese)
  • Channel Title (as it should appear on OnCommerce)
  • DMS Description and Channel Description
  • Click “Next”

Step 7: Fill in the “Dimensions” Tab

  • Enter Length, Width, Height, and Weight as per your product dimensions.
  • Click “Next”

Step 8: Configure the “Financial” Tab

  • Vendor Costs – enter product cost in vendor currency.
  • Channel Prices:
  • Enter End Customer Price
  • Choose Tax Type and enter the Tax Value
  • Shipping Services:
  • Select the services and enter associated costs.
  • Click “Next”

Step 9: Complete the “Properties” Tab

  • Enter all required attributes marked with an asterisk (*).
  • Click “Next”

Step 10: Upload Product Images

  • In the Images tab:
  • Upload variation images and group images.
  • Click “Next”

Step 11: Save the Product

  • Click “Save”.
  • If all required information is correctly filled in, your product will now be added to DMSMatrix for further publishing.
  • Once your product is published, it will appear in the Product Dashboard.

3. Linking products to OnCommerce :

Once products are added to DMSMatrix and inventory is updated, the next step is to link them to your OnCommerce store. This process ensures that your products are pushed from DMSMatrix and appear on the OnCommerce platform.

Step 1: Navigate to the Links Dashboard

  • From the main DMSMatrix dashboard, go to the “Links” Dashboard.

Step 2: Start Product Linking

  • Under the Action button, click on “Link Products”.

Step 3: Filter or Select Products

  • You can link the product to the channel using either the barcode or the product title.
  • Use the filters or manually select the specific products you want to link to OnCommerce.

Step 4: Initiate Linking

  • Click “Link Selected” to link only the checked products, or use “Link Filtered” to link all products currently visible through the filters.
  • Once the product linking is done, it will appear in the Linking Dashboard.
  • When you link a new product, it will first appear under Processing Status.
  • After the product is successfully linked to the channel, it will move to the Linked Status.

Update product on OnCommerce via DMS

In DMS, you can update products easily using either the Single update method or the Template (bulk) update method. You can directly access the product you want to update and make changes from one place. DMS allows you to update key product details such as title, price, and description, add a new sales channel, modify the product SKU, update dimensions, and manage product images. All updates can be handled efficiently within DMS through a simple and user-friendly interface.

Update Single Product & Bulk update by Template: 

Note: Products must be linked to OnCommerce , and their status in DMS must be Linked or updated, then you able to update them.

1.Update products by template –

Step 1: Access the Product Dashboard

  • From the DMSMatrix main dashboard, click on the “Products” tab on the left panel.
  • This opens the Product Dashboard, where you can manage all product-related tasks.

Step 2: Update Product Template for OnCommerce 

  • From the DMSMatrix main dashboard, click on the “Products” tab on the left panel.
  • This opens the template Dashboard, where you can manage all product-related tasks by template.
  • Click the Settings icon in the top-right corner of the Template Dashboard to access template features.

Step 3: Update product template

  • Update Products template: This option will be only used while creating a template for modifying the existing products in the system.  
  • Click on “Update products template” then click on proceed.

Step 4: Configure select channel tab

  • Channels & Categories:
  • Select OnCommerce from the list also select the category of products that’s you want to update.
  • Note: The category you select must be related to the products you want to update. During update template generation, you can select up to two categories at one time.
  • Once the OnCommerce channel is selected, you will be able to update both OnCommerce-level product details and DMS-level product details.
  • Click the check box then Click “Proceed”.
  • Select the products you want to update searching the barcodes in the Barcode Search field.
  • You can search up to 20,000 barcodes at once, separated by commas.
  • This will create a template for update the products.
  • Click the “Proceed”.

Step 5: Template settings

  • Select Export Format  
  • Compact Template: A clear and simplified template format for product feed.  
  • Extended Template: A detailed template format for product feed including a wide range of product attributes and information. 
  • Sub-Product Columns: add required sub-product columns to the template 
  • Click on “Proceed” Once you click “Proceed”, your template will be created, and you will be to download it .  

Step 6: Export template

  • The template will be created successfully, then Click on “Download Template” for download your template.
  • When you click “Download Template”, a job will start running in background.
  • Once the job is completed, another pop-up will appear confirming that the template has been successfully created.
  • Simply click on the job pop-up and click on link to download your template.
  • Open the downloaded template file and enter the data you want to update.

Step 7: Template filling

  • Once you open the file, the product information will already be filled in.
  • You will be able to update both OnCommerce-level and DMS-level product details, such as title, description, dimensions, channel SKU, barcode, HS code, price, and images.
  • Some mandatory note:
  • In the template, all red-highlighted fields are mandatory and must be filled.
  • The DMS category must be selected as “Everything Else”.
  • Once you fill all the details that you wants to update then saved the file.

Step 8: Template upload

  • To upload a file, open the templatedashboard, where you can manage all product-related tasks using templates.
  • Click “Upload Template” at the top-right corner.
  • Select the completed file you want to upload.
  • If you want to upload images through the template, do not tick the checkbox.
  • Click “Upload” to submit the file.
  • Once you click “Upload”, a job will start running, and a pop-up will appear indicating that your template upload is in progress.
  • After the upload job is completed, a “Your template uploaded successfully” pop-up will appear that’s indicating that your template is uploaded.
  • To view your uploaded file, go to the Template Dashboard, where all uploaded files are displayed.

2. Product update by single :

Step 1: Access the Product Dashboard

  • From the DMS Matrix main dashboard, click on the “Products” tab on the left panel.
  • This opens the Product Dashboard, where you can manage all product-related tasks.
  • This opens the Product Dashboard, where you can manage all product-related tasks.
  • In the Product section, a dropdown menu is available for each product.

Step 2: update product

  • To update product, simply open the dropdown and click “Edit product”.
  • Then it open product edit section their you able to edit your product.
  • In the Product Edit section, you can update both OnCommerce-level and DMS-level product details, including title, description, dimensions, channel SKU, barcode, HS code,price, images, and channel-specific properties, based on your requirements.
  • In the Identifiers section, you can update or change the HS Code, Barcode, and the OnCommerce Channel SKU.
  • In the Descriptions tab, you can update the product title and description
  • In the Dimensions section, you can adjust the product length, width, height, and weight.
  • In the Financial section, you can update the vendor cost and the OnCommerce product price.
  • In the Properties section, you can update both DMS-level and OnCommerce-level product properties.
  • In the Images section, you can change or update the product images as required.

Step 3: Save the Product

  • Click “Save”.
  • A confirmation pop-up will appear; click “Yes” to proceed.
  • If all required information is filled in correctly, the product update process will begin.

Step 4: Updated Product Review — Single & Template

  • To review the updated product status, go to the Link Dashboard and search for the product.
  • Then you will see the product in Processing Update status.
  • When the product is in Processing Update status, the update may take some time to complete.
  • Once the update is successful, the product status will change to Updated, confirming that the product has been updated successfully.
  • To view the products updated through the template, go to the Product Dashboard—search the product you updated.
  • In the Product section, a dropdown menu is available for each product.
  • To view the updated product, simply open the dropdown and click “View Product”.
  • Then you able to see the whole product information.

Inventory Upload to OnCommerce via DMS

After adding a product to DMSMatrix, you must update its inventory before it can be listed or linked to sales channels such as OnCommerce. DMSMatrix provides a user-friendly interface to manage stock quantities per SKU and warehouse. Inventory can be updated individually or in bulk using a template for multiple products at once.

  1. Add inventory by template –  

Step 1: Go to inventory dashboard

  • From the main DMSMatrix dashboard, click “Inventory” on the left-hand side menu.
  • This will take you to the Inventory Management dashboard.

Step 2: Open Inventory Update Panel

  • Click on the “Bulk inventory upload” option at the top of the page.
  • This option is used to upload inventory in bulk using a template.
  • Click on the “Download sample file” and download the file.
  • Once the file has been downloaded, open it and start filling in the template.

Step 3: Fill the inventory upload file

  • Fill the below details –
  • UPC / Barcode / Supplier SKU – You can fill any one of these fields based on the information you have.
  • Wearhouse code
  • Quantity that you want to upload
  • Fill all the mandatory details and save the file.

Step 4: Upload the file

  • Click on choose file and select the file that you filled
  • Upload the file that you fill
  • Click on “Proceed”

Step 5: Upload file status check 

  • After you upload the file, a confirmation pop-up will appear indicating that the file upload is in progress. Please note that the upload may take some time to complete.
  • To check your file upload status, click on “Click Here” and review the status.
  • Once the upload is completed, you can review the inventory of your uploaded products.
  • Then go to the Product Dashboard, click on the eye icon, and review your product inventory.
